If we lose the vision, we alone are responsible, and the way we lose the vision is by spiritual leakage...At the beginning we saw it but did not wait for it; we rushed off into practical work, and when the vision was fulfilled, we did not see it. Waiting for the vision that lingers is the test of our loyalty to God. It is at the peril of our soul's welfare that we get caught up in practical work and miss the fulfilment of the vision. It is essential to practice the walk of the feet in the light of the vision...-Oswald Chambers............Acts26:19 "I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven."

Watch God's cyclones. The only way God sows His saints is by His whirlwind. Are you going to prove an empty pod? It will depend on whether or not you are actually living in the light of what you have seen. Let God fling you out, and do not go until He does. If you select your own spot, you will prove an empty pod. If God sows you, you will bring forth fruit...-Chambers, My Utmost........Galatians5:22 "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, humility, self- control."

#0000691

Carpe Mañana-'seize tomorrow'. Don't waste time reliving or trying to repair the past. Whether it was a smashing success or a crashing failure, its only purpose now is to teach you lessons for tomorrow-so we can learn from it; not live in it...Lead towards the future, not the past...-Seybert, Leaders........Philippians3:13 "I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead."

#0000692

We have got so commercialized that we only go to God for something from Him, and not for Himself. It is like saying, “No, Lord, I don't want Thee, I want myself; but I want myself clean and filled with the Holy Spirit; I want to be put in Thy showroom and be able to say-‘This is what God has done for me’.” If we only give up something to God because we want more back, there is nothing of the Holy Spirit in our abandonment; it is miserable commercial self-interest. Our Lord replies in effect, that abandonment is for Himself, and not for what the disciples themselves will get from it...-Oswald Chambers.........Mark10:28 “Peter said to Him, ‘We have left everything to follow you’.”

#0000693

Treasure the gift of true friends, they are your pillars of support.

Treasure the gift of family, they have been entrusted by God Himself for you to

love. Treasure the gift of self, for you are beautiful in the eyes of God.

Treasure the gifts of faith, hope, and love. They are God's gifts of Himself to you.

With these gifts, you are wealthy beyond imagination...-Elizabeth Honrado.............. Isaiah 33:6 “He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.”

#0000694

Moses provided many examples of leadership, but this lesson is about being a graceful follower. The decision belonged to God, but Moses didn't shrink from presenting his case clearly and calmly. SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER...-Seybert, Leaders.........Exodus32:9-11 “Then the Lord said, ‘I have seen how stubborn and rebellious these people are. Now leave Me alone so My fierce anger can blaze against them...’ But Moses tried to pacify the Lord his God. ‘O Lord!’ he said- ‘Why are You so angry?’

#0000695

Today, only questions surround your great sorrow but then you will see how the threatening enemy was actually swept away during your stormy night of fear and grief...Today you see only your loss, but then you will see how God used it to break the evil chains that had begun to restrain you...Today you cower at the howling wind and the roaring thunder, but then you will see how they beat back the waves of destruction and opened your way to the peaceful Land of Promise...-Mark Guy Pearse.........Revelations15:2,3 “Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the Ages.”

#0000696

The mistake of the Jews, 2000years ago-and very often our mistake right now-is the belief that we were made for this world. . . . .God did not create us for this world. He created us for His World - for the fullness of life, eternity. . . .And for the fullness of love... This is a tremendous truth, which God has hidden from the wise and learned, and revealed to His little ones...-Fr James Reuter.........1Corinthians2:10-12 “But we know these things because God has revealed them to us by His Spirit, and His Spirit searches out everything and shows us even God's deep secrets...-no one can know God's thoughts except God's Own Spirit. And God has actually given us His Spirit(not the world's spirit) so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.”

Beware The Ides Of March...-RGP...-March 15 was, in world history, The Ides of March in 44B.C. when the Roman Public dictator Julius Caesar was stabbed to death by Marcus Brutus, Gaius Longinus, Junius Brutus and several Roman Senators. More than 60 joined the conspiracy. The murder seemingly had the blessings of the people who were no longer pleased with conditions then. Ides of March in the Roman Calendar was simply the standard way of saying March15. But because of this tragedy, the expression connoted something evil will happen, as when Caesar was warned by a soothsayer who gave him the warning-BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH...-Alejandro Roces, Roses and Thorns........2Corinthians3:6 “The letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life.”

Western Multinational companies used to mainly source parts and cheap labor in developing nations. Increasingly, they're selling a larger portion of their finished goods and services there too. Behind the bullish numbers is an octave change in perceptions about risk and opportunity in some of the world's most powerful boardrooms. After years of globalization, it's hardly surprising that the biggest US corporations now look to overseas markets for at least half of their revenue, but more and more boardrooms are seeing the developing world become their fastest growing breadwinner. Colgate40%, Proctor&Gamble30%, Coca-Cola30%, IBM, Canon, Hitachi, etc...-Stephen Roach, Morgan Stanley……Job 9:26 “They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that hasteth to the prey.”

#0000699

The days when you go into a country like a ghost, drop off a piece of equipment and then walk away again are gone...Now you have to dig in, get involved with governments and local companies, and become a partner for development...In these new partnerships, profits clearly flow both ways...-F. Beccalli-Falco, Chairman of GE International.........Job9:25.-Psalm102:27b.-Hebrews13:8 “My days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no good.-...as a vesture shalt Thou change them, and they shall be changed: but Thou art the same, and Thy years shall have no end.-Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today, and forever.”

#0000700

You may be facing the need for pruning. Get expert advise and take great care. Consider the consequences. Your goal is to strengthen the vine; make sure you don't kill it off...Prune with Care...-Seybert, Leaders........John15:2 “He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn't produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.”

#0000701

I love being around people who are really good at what they do. It gives me great pleasure to watch them because I can tell that they're right in the middle of their sweet spots...We are all born with a seed of greatness. As a leader, your job is to help people develop whatever will make them shine. Then put their talents to use for the good of the mission...LET YOUR PEOPLE SHINE...-Seybert, Leaders........Exodus31:2-3 “Look, I have specifically chosen Bezalel. . . .I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.”

#0000702

When the fire of affliction draws songs of praise from us, then we are purified, and our God is glorified!...-CPIV........Daniel3:16-18 “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego answered and said to the king, 'O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter. If it be so, our God Whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up'.”

#0000703

Anything of value is worth making an effort for. If events slot too easily into place you feel cheated, while those hard-to- achieve goals bring a strong sense of satisfaction...-Liz Honrado...........Daniel2:22-23 “He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though He Himself is surrounded by light. I thank and praise You, God of my ancestors, for You have given me wisdom and strength. You have told me what we asked of you and revealed to us what the king demanded.”

#0000704

He who controls others may be powerful , but he who has mastered himself is mightier still...-Lao Tzu........Daniel2:19-21 “That night the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of Heaven, saying, 'Praise the name of God forever and ever, for He alone has all wisdom and power. He determines the course of world events; He removes kings and sets others on the throne. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars.”

#0000705

Why do people not receive the Gospel?...The turning of the heart is not up to you. Never think that!...It is the Lord who anoints the believer...-EJ Del Mundo.........Isaiah65:2.-Romans1:22,23.-Psalm37:5,6 “All day long I have held out My Hands to an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations.-Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.-Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.”

#0000706

As we advance in age, looks simply move from the face to the heart, appeal becomes charm, hurts turn to wisdom, and great moments to lifelong memories...-Babes Simpao............Psalm37:25-26 “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread. They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be blessed.”

#0000707

If there is something BETTER than sharing with others the best of what you have, it is sharing with others the best of WHO YOU ARE...-Raul Romulo........Psalm37:3-4 “Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

#0000708

We have an insatiable appetite for more. It's not what we eat that makes us sick, but the sad fact that we don't know when to step away from the table...Leaders who have lost their ability to step away from the table can develop unhealthy appetites for growth, increased profits, or market dominance, all of which result in serious consequences similar to those brought on by physical obesity. Focus on what's important and learn to control your appetite for more. DON'T OVERINDULGE...-Seybert, Leaders........Colossians3:5 “Don't be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.”

#0000709

Know yourself. Know your talents and capacity, in judgement and inclination. You cannot master yourself unless you know yourself. There are mirrors for the face but none for the mind. Let careful thought about yourself serve as a substitute. When the outer image is forgotten, keep the inner one to improve and perfect. Learn the force of your intellect and capacity for affairs, test the force of your courage in order to apply it, and keep your foundations secure and your head clear for everything...-Baltasar Graciàn........Psalm119:28 “Strengthen Thou me according Unto Thy Word.”

#0000710

So much depends on being a person of depth. The interior must be at least as impressive as the exterior. Some people's character is all facade, like houses that, due to lack of means, have the portico of a palace leading to the rooms of a cottage. It is no use boring into such people-although they will bore you-because conversation flags after the first salutation. They prance through the first compliments like Sicilian stallions, but silence quickly follows, for the flow of words soon ceases where there is no spring of thoughts. Others may be taken in by them because they themselves have superficial views, but not the prudent, who look within them and find nothing there except material for scorn...-Graciàn, Maxim48.......Psalm119:130 “The entrance of Thy Words giveth light.”

#0000711

Cultivate relationships with those who can teach you. Let friendly intercourse be a school of knowledge, and let culture be taught through conversation. Thus you make your friends your teachers and mingle the pleasures of conversation with the advantages of instruction. We are always attracted to others by our own interest, but in this case it is of a higher kind. Wise people frequent the houses of great nobility as theatres of heroism not temples of vanity. They are renowned for their wisdom, not only for being oracles of all nobleness by their example and behavior, but because those who surround them form a courtly academy of worldly wisdom of the best and noblest kind...-Graciàn, M11..Ephesians5:8 “You were sometimes darkness, but now are you light in the Lord: walk as children of light.”

#0000712

The boneless tongue, So small and weak, Can crush and kill, Declared the Greek./ The Persian Proverb wisely saith, A lengthy tongue, An early death./ Sometimes it takes this form instead: Don't let your tongue Cut off your head./ While Arab sages this impart: The tongue's great storehouse is the Heart./ From Hebrew wit, the Maxim's sprung: Though feet should slip, don't let the tongue./ A verse from Scripture Crowns the Whole: Who keeps the tongue doth keep his Soul...Wise is the person who knows what to say and when to say it...-Haddon Robinson........Proverbs21:23 “Whoever guards his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from troubles.”

#0000713

Adapt yourself to those around you. There is no need to show your ability before everyone. Employ no more force than is necessary. Let there be no unnecessary expenditure either of knowledge or of power. The skillful falconer only flies enough birds to serve for the chase. If there is too much display today, there will be nothing to show tomorrow. Always have some novelty with which to dazzle. To show something fresh each day keeps expectation alive and conceals the limits of capacity...-Baltasar Graciàn, Maxim58...........Joshua23:14 “Ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.”

#0000714

Nature and Art, material and workmanship. There is no beauty unadorned and no excellence that would not become barbaric if it were not supported by artifice. This remedies the bad and improves the good. Nature scarcely ever gives us the very best---for that we must have recourse to art. Without this the best of natural dispositions remains uncultured, lacking half its excellence if training is absent. Everyone has something unrefined that needs training, and every kind of excellence needs some polish...-Graciàn, Maxim12........Proverbs31:30 “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”

#0000715

Mark10:45 “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”--Acts4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”---Philippians3:8 “I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.”

#0000716

1Timothy1:17 “To the King of ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.”-John7: 37-38 “On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, 'If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him'.”
